It has smelled and felt like spring for weeks already and tomorrow spring officially begins. Looking at our photos there's some I would share with you, so here comes a summary again :o)
Starting again with weather, which has been wonderful. We have had extreme cold for couple of weeks (down to - 34 at night)
Pictures here are taken on one very cold weekend. We stayed in town and went to walk the dogs in a shop :o) where dogs are allowed. Later we went to a beautiful beach near to our home. We thought we survive only few minutes out, but it was so beautiful there and the coast was covered with ice which is second best reason (after water) for a child to be busy forever :o)
Then we participated at ''President's Ski Trip''. It's a cross country
skiing trip held near to our country home every year in February. It was second time for us and as the route contains some mountains quite high for beginners, "we participated" means that Kelli was skiing and the rest of the family was her supportive team :o). Lucky and me ran with her and helped her up and down the mountains and daddy with Rocco and Jossu drowe car to finish and then met us halfway :o). Well, next year I have probably trouble to catch Kelli even on skis :o).
To really participate, after taking Kelli home, we took the same whole route again with Lucky and on the skis then (not Lucky :o) ). I must admit, that newbie like me and king of universe like Lucky don't really fit to the public ski trail :o). As I'm still snailslow and thanks to that Lucky feels safe from my educational impact - I can't catch him :o), he has time to tell his oppinion to everyone :o). Well, we are working on it, but I think barking is easier to fix then me learning to ski :o)
But a week later weather had worked for our benefit. Cold nigts and sunny days made strong surface on snow and it was possible to go anywhere on skis. We repeated our last years wonderful trip on rivers flood plain and next day took a trip on river to the place we have never been before. And probably not many people before us too. We only saw paw prints of wild animals, many beavers homes and amazingly beautiful places on our way. Below you can see Lucky in the action. We have taken quite long routes, but still he has strenght to sheer me, then spurt after daddy, come back sheering me again and so the whole route :o)

Then couple more skiing pictures, probably last for this season, as snow is melting visibly. We first went to ski with daddy and Lucky, then went back home and invited Rocco and children too.
